The chance of being dealt a card that would beat the set card is about 17 %. The player will know when this happens if his bet becomes too high. This in effect gives the player a Free Card in Free Monday. The game continues and draws if there is no set card.

If the set card does occur, the dealer will reveal all his cards and the player may choose to hit or stand as well. The player may also hit if there is no better Free Card available in the deck. This is sometimes done by the dealer as a way of giving the player a chance to improve the hand.

The strategy for the player is important here. Keeping cards that improve the hand can prove to be a problem. The problem is that one cannot know when the dealer will have a better card. Such situations are not really in the player's favor so it would be best if the player decided to stand or to fold.
